Earth, mother.
Sun, we bow to.
Revere the rivers
& the plants too.
In stories of valor,
Of familial love, of hope
Animals no less,
Find a co-inhabited home.
In the school I studied
The motto hung:
'Truth', is god
With 'Saare Jahaan' we sung
This day, we reminisce
For which many lost lives.
Brought that land it's freedom
Where civilization was 1st identified.
